NEWS: Budget Airline To Add First Class Seating Options

Planning a trip to Disney World involves a lot of decision-making. First, you’ll need to figure out your budget. Then using that, you’ll figure out how long you’re staying, as well as which hotel you’ll stay in. Of course, you’ll also have to get your tickets. Then you have to decide if you want Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass.

According to CNN, Frontier Airlines is planning on offering premium “first class-style” seats on future flights. These “luxurious, spacious seats” will become available to passengers in late 2025. The airline plans on remodeling its existing airplanes by removing the first two rows of existing seats and replacing them with the new premium seats.

Frontier CEO Barry Biffle said in a statement: “We’ve listened to customers, and they want more — more premium options, like first class-style seating, attainable seat upgrades, more free travel for their companions, and the ability to use miles on more than just airfare.”

Frontier also announced it would offer more benefits to loyalty customers, including free seat upgrades for Elite members, free companion travel for some, and redemption of miles to cover bag fees and seat bundles. Upgrades to the new premium seats will also be available to loyalty customers.

This comes shortly after Southwest Airlines announced it would be getting rid of its open seating policy and offering assigned seating instead. Spirit Airlines also recently announced it would offer a new premium seating option.
