Have you ever been to one of Disneyland’s special events?
Throughout the year, there are a variety of hard-ticketed events held at Disneyland Resort, but some of the most unique are the Disneyland After Dark events that happen toward the beginning of each calendar year. One of those fan-favorite offerings is Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite, and it’s returning for 2025!
Disneyland Resort officially announced its slate of events for Disneyland After Dark in 2025. In 2024, the theme park offered Pride Nite, Sweethearts’ Nite, Star Wars Nite, and Disney Channel Nite.
Three of those events are confirmed to return in 2025 — Pride Nite, Star Wars Nite, and Sweethearts’ Nite. Disney is also adding a 90’s Nite event. We can’t wait!
On December 5th, Disney announced its 2025 dates for one of the most popular events — Sweethearts’ Nite. Here’s a look at the full list of dates!
- January 21st, 23rd, 28th
- February 4th, 6th, 9th, 11th, 13th
A certain number of tickets will go on sale for Inspire Magic Key holders on December 10th while all other Magic Key holders get access on December 11th. After that, tickets open up to anyone on December 12th. These events are known for using a virtual queue and selling out, so be prepared! Tickets will be on sale no earlier than 9AM PT on the Disneyland website.
Disney notes the event will feature a new cavalcade in 2025. The offerings available at the 2024 included the following:
- A royal cavalcade traveling through Disneyland park
- Dancing along with princesses, princes, and Disney characters at the evening’s royal ball near “it’s a small world”.
- Stitch and Angel hosting their own dance party at the stage in Tomorrowland.
- Unique photo backdrops offered an opportunity to step inside some of Disney’s iconic scenes of love and friendship, including Lady and the Tramp, Tangled, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, and more.
- The ultimate “love” atmosphere around the park with lighting and music.
- Many sweet and savory treats created especially for Sweethearts’ Nite.
The event is a great way to enjoy Disneyland rides with low wait times, and you. can often find rare characters meeting around the park with their sweethearts. It’s a great date night during the Valentine’s Day season!
