NEW Disney+ Changes Are Now LIVE

Disney+, Disney’s streaming service is continuing to evolve and bring new offerings for subscribers.

In May, Disney+ and Hulu combined to become one service. The logo for Disney+ changed from dark blue to teal to mix the green of the Hulu logo with the blue of Disney+. Disney+ also introduced a new bundle that includes Disney+, Hulu, and Max. Now Disney is personalizing your profile on Disney+ and taking a page out of Netflix’s book.

Since Disney+ debuted in 2019, many changes have been made to help make the streaming process easier for subscribers. 

In a recent change, Disney+ has introduced streaming channels referred to as “Streams.” These channels are personalized to what you have viewed and offer continuous live streams of the themed content. For example, there is an ABC Channel, Throwback Channel, Hits and Heros Channel, and more. These channels will allow subscribers to tune into whatever is “live” on that channel.

That is not all; Disney+ now has a Top 10, similar to Netflix. The Top 10 will show what is trending so you can stay up to date on what is popular. 

These changes are great and a step in the right direction for Disney+’s continued competitiveness with other streaming services. Not too long ago, Disney+ started to crack down on password sharing, just like other streaming services have.
