From severe weather warnings to theme park closures and cancelations, quite a few changes are happening in preparation for Hurricane Helene. And now, we’ve got a look at how the incoming storm is affecting air travel.

According to FlightAware, there are currently over 150 flight delays and 72 cancelations at the Orlando International Airport (MCO) for the day. These are likely weather-related and will impact thousands of travelers on Thursday, September 26th.

MCO shared on Twitter/X that the airport is still operating as usual but the weather has been causing delays and cancelations. You should check with your airline directly for the most updated flight information.

In the theme parks today, we’ve experienced a few rain bands rolling through intermittently, along with some heavy wind. Crowds are relatively low in the theme parks, as it seems many people have canceled or altered their vacation plans due to the incoming storm.
