What Are the Crowds Like During a SOLD-OUT Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party?

We’re at the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of 2024!

Magic Kingdom during Halloween (2023)

The Halloween party takes place in Magic Kingdom from August 9th through October 31st. It’s a spooky fun event that we get excited about every year. There are tons of specialty treats, exclusive entertainment, spooky ride overlays, and of course, trick-or-treating. Plus, you can’t miss out on seeing your favorite Disney characters all dressed up! We’ve been waiting for this day to come since we got our ticket, and now we’re finally here! So let’s see how many others are here for the sold-out first party

Disney Vacation Planner

The party runs from 7PM until midnight, but party ticket holders can get into Magic Kingdom at 4PM! We got to the park right around 4PM, and there were quite a few other partygoers ready to celebrate Halloween on the sold-out opening night!

Crowds headed to Magic Kingdom for the party

When you get to Magic Kingdom, there are special lines for ticket holders. So make sure to hop into one of those lines to enter the party! You’ll get a wristband to show that you’re there for the event when you enter one of these lines.

There’s a special entrance for party guests

Since this first night is completely sold out, we are expecting heavier crowds, but it is a special ticket that Disney limits, so it likely won’t be too bad throughout the night. However, since the park is still open to regular ticket holders until 7PM, crowds have still been a bit busy.

When the party officially started at 7PM, the crowds in Liberty Square had thinned out a bit!
