I enjoyed watching your perfect day at Universal video. A hint for getting off to a bit faster start on riding Hagrid that will work especially well if you are staying at Hard Rock. If you take the walking path that enters City Walk, the security there opens at the same time that the boats/buses start to run, an hour before early park opening, I believe. If you are there waiting when the security opens you can easily be at the turnstiles at rope drop, rather than in a bunch. I did that, and although I am almost 70 and rather slower at walking than many of the other folks rushing toward Hagrid at Rope Drop, I still had finished riding the ride 15 minutes after official early admission park opening! This leaves one with 45 minutes of early morning time before the folks without Early Park admission join the throng to ride or eat or have a Wand Choose you or whatever is on your list. (Eat ice cream for breakfast at Florian Fortisques without having to wait in line, for example.)
