ALERT: A Popular EPCOT Area Is CLOSING Next Week

If you’re a Disney Vacation Club Member, then you’ll want to hear all about what Disney is planning to close next week at Walt Disney World.

Being a Disney Vacation Club member comes with many perks, including access to exclusive members-only lounges sprinkled throughout the resort. These lounges are particularly beneficial on hot, crowded days at the parks, providing a cool, relaxing retreat where you can enjoy a variety of amenities.

Some of these amenities include seating, complimentary small snacks and drinks, and Wi-Fi amongst other offerings. Our favorite part might have to be the air conditioning, which we consider a perk because those summer days get HOT and it’s so nice to chill out somewhere peaceful and cool!

But Disney has announced that one of those Disney Vacation Club lounges, a pretty popular one at that, is closing for some time.

The lounge located inside the second floor of the Imagination Pavilion will not be accessible from June 2nd to July 13th, 2024. The reasoning for its closure? A refurbishment. So although we are sad to know that this lounge will be closed for a little over a month, a refurbishment can be nice for upkeep and we’re sure that the lounge will re-open better than it was before

And if you’re a Disney Vacation Club Member and are worried that you won’t have a lounge accessible to you when you go to EPCOT, fear not! Disney will have a temporary lounge available in the meantime.

This temporary lounge will be located inside The Odyssey Pavilion, which is situated at the edge of the lagoon between World Showcase and World Discovery. It will remain in use until the Imagination Pavilion reopens on July 14th, 2024.
