That’s why it’s so important that you stay up to date with both Orlando and MCO news prior to your travels so that you’re prepared for a variety of scenarios. We can just say some AllEars readers were heading to MCO for their flight and are currently being held outside.
On Monday, February 26th, travelers at MCO were asked to wait outside the airport after law enforcement received a call and began an investigation.
⚠️Advisory: Law enforcement partners are currently investigating a call. Terminal B road traffic is closed. Please follow instructions from onsite airport personnel. Updates will be provided as the situation develops.

Road closures occurred in Terminal B, and those in Terminal B were asked to remain outside or move to Terminal A while law enforcement handled the issue. Both road traffic and passenger baggage have been directed to Terminal A as well.
Update/4: Law enforcement has cleared a call at Terminal B. Road traffic to Terminal B will reopen soon. We thank you for your patience and cooperation while our partners work towards resuming normal operations at Terminal B.

An eyewitness outside told us that they weren’t allowed to enter the airport after drop-off. Currently, 15 flights have been delayed at the airport. It doesn’t seem that security has yet been affected, with lines still moving smoothly and rather quickly. A reader also informed us that there was no one directing people and telling them where to go. Passengers were taking it upon themselves to direct and help each other.

At 6:22PM, MCO announced that the call had been cleared and that usual operations would continue within Terminal B.
Update/4: Law enforcement has cleared a call at Terminal B. Road traffic to Terminal B will reopen soon. We thank you for your patience and cooperation while our partners work towards resuming normal operations at Terminal B.
