Waiting for all your favorite and most highly-anticipated movies to arrive to Disney+ can be the worst!
After all, what’s better than a night spent bundled up on the couch with your favorite snacks and a movie? A lot of fans are wondering when we can expect to see recent releases arrive to Disney+. One of those is Wish, Disney’s latest animated film that was released in theaters in November. Let’s talk about it!
UPDATE: Disney has announced that Wish will be released on Disney+ on April 3rd, 2024.
For a best guess as to when we can expect films to arrive to Disney+, we can just take a look at the timelines of past films’ releases!
The Little Mermaid was released in theaters in May of 2023, and arrived to Disney+ in September. Elemental arrived to theaters in June of 2023, and also arrived to Disney+ in September. Oh, and The Marvels, which was released in November, 2023, will be available on Disney+ in February, 2024.
So, it usually takes anywhere from three to four months for titles to be added to Disney+. We think Wish will show up on the platform sometime in March. Maybe late February if we’re lucky!
