Thousands Will Try to Get a Spot for Disney's NEW Haunted Mansion Race — Here's When You Can Register

We know — running is not for everyone!

However, runDisney races are themed with Disney characters cheering you on and it may just convince you to sign up for a race! If you’ve ever been in that position before, just wait until you see the themes for Disneyland’s Halloween races… .

runDisney is back at Disneyland after being absent for years, and they are hosting some Halloween races this year from September 5th to 8th. Now, we know exactly what each race will be themed to — let’s go!

Starting with the 5K, you can expect to see Chip and Dale around because the race is themed around the iconic duo!

The 10K is where we think most of you will be excited — it’s themed to the Haunted Mansion’s Hitchhiking Ghosts! Are you convinced that you can run a 10K now?

The main event of the weekend is the Half Marathon and with this race, you’ll see Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle dressed as the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus!

If you’ve been to Disneyland in recent years around Halloween, you know you can meet this iconic trio during Oogie Boogie Bash. Now they’ll be cheering on runners during the Half Marathon!

Up for a challenge? The Chills & Thrills Challenge is complete when you run the 10K and the Half Marathon. You’ll earn a special medal themed to The Nightmare Before Christmas!

The kids’ races for children aged 9 and under are themed to Cars. Will they get to see Vampire Mater? Only time will tell.

If you want to sign up for one (or all) of these races, mark these days and times in your calendar now. Club runDisney members can sign up on February 6th at 7AM PT and general registration opens on February 13th at 7AM PT.
