It’s a new year in Disney World, and change is in the air! Recently, we learned that a Downtown Disney restaurant is permanently closing, and now, we have an update on a popular Disney Springs store!

If you’re looking for something to do in Disney World (like dine at a popular restaurant or shop for some souvenirs) WITHOUT a park ticket, Disney Springs is the place to go. Speaking of shopping, we have an important on one of the stores in Disney Springs. Let’s take a look!
For all you bath bomb lovers and soap collectors, Basin is the place to visit in Disney Springs! This store is located in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs (right next to the World of Disney store). Basin offers a variety of self-care products, like bath bombs, lip balm, soap, and more. It’s a popular little destination!

During a recent trip to Disney Springs, we learned that this location is temporarily closed. A Cast Member was posted outside the store to inform guests that the store is not currently open.

According to Basin staff, the store is currently being remodeled, and we spotted some signs on the doors reading, “Something new is bubbling up at Basin.” How exciting! The closure is expected to last about three weeks.

In the meantime, you can visit Basin’s temporary pop-up spot near The Art of Disney store. This temporary location is the same spot that used to be Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories.

There are a LOT of new and exciting things happening in Disney Springs right now. Two new restaurants, EET by Maneet Chauhan and Summer House on the Lake, recently opened — and we visited BOTH!

Additionally, we’ve spotted several store closures (and new openings) over the past few months. There’s even a new candle store!

We can’t wait to see all the new changes come to life in Disney Springs! In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
