It’s been an exciting year for Disney World in 2023 but there’s one thing that kept us coming back for more.

Between all of the new parties, restaurants, and shows to debut at Disney World this year you really had a lot to keep up with. But who are we kidding… we’re only concerned about one thing for this list — the BEST snacks Disney World released in 2023!
You’ve planned for your Disney World vacation long and hard and when it’s finally time to realize the fruits of your labor you really want to make sure you’re making the right decision.

That’s where we come in — we tried every new snack released in Disney World over the past year and we have lots of opinions on which were most memorable to us.
Peanut Butter Cold Brew Cookie
If you’re the type of person who could eat peanut butter straight from the jar, you NEED to try this cookie.

Gideon’s Bakehouse released a peanut butter cold brew cookie that is practically all peanut butter (and a little bit of chocolate). It’s sprinkled with espresso at the top and features peanut M&Ms added to the mix and it practically melts in your mouth.
Chocolate Cake Doughnut Holes
Energy Bytes opened with a futuristic menu sampling when TRON Lightcycle / Run officially opened and blew us away with their Chocolate Cake Doughnut Holes.

Yes, these little bite sizes of chocolatey goodness were just the right amount of sweet and soft bread to keep us coming back for more (again, and again).
Crispy Beef Dumplings
This snack was truly a blink-and-you-missed-it kind of situation but for just mere days, the savory snack from Sunshine Tree Terrace was our go-to.

The Crispy Beef Dumplings were introduced to the Adventureland restaurant and quickly became very popular. The restaurant had a hard time keeping up with the demand and an even harder time getting them back in stock after selling out and they’ve since been removed from the menu. We hope these come back though because their savory dumpling taste coated in an orange-ginger glaze was just the right snack we needed for a mid-day treat.
Pepperoni & Cheese Spring Rolls
Sometimes, it’s all about those returning favorites and the return of the Pepperoni & Cheese Spring Rolls from Magic Kingdom was epic!

These returning fan favorites reappeared at the Adventureland Spring Roll Cart after the disappearance of the new pastrami flavor offered during Disney’s 50th anniversary celebration and we were so happy to see them back. Each of the spring rolls is packed with cheesy mozzarella and chunks of spicy pepperoni for a flavor-bursting bite and you’ll get marinara dipping sauce on the side!
Blondie Pie with Twix
Sometimes it’s those sweet snacks that are made just the right size to travel with you that you remember most — like was the case for the Blondie Pie with Twix!

You can find these blondie cookies that are topped with gooey bits of Twix at Main Street Confectionery. But we’ll give you a fair warning, they’re addictive!
Boston Cream Pie
How could we not mention one of the best pies we’ve ever tried at Disney World? The Boston Cream Pie stole our hearts (and our stomachs instantly).

You can find this one at Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom and it tastes just as delightful as it looks.
Breakfast Totchos
Although Disney’s Animal Kingdom saw a whole slew of new breakfast items in the park this year, this by far was the clear winner.

Breakfast Totchos (right, just the name had us drooling already) took us by storm! They’re made of potato barrels (tater tots), Scrambled Eggs, Nacho Cheese Sauce, Cheese Curds, and Crumbled Bacon. These can be found at Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery and were filling and flavorful enough but didn’t break the bank in the process.
Thai Sweet Chili Glazed Pork Pizza
We get it, this one has quite the name but we’ll be the first to admit it lives up to every bit of it!

You can find the Thai Sweet Chili Glazed Pork Pizza over at Terra Treats in Disney’s Animal Kingdom but you’ll want to be watchful of their hours since they tend to operate on limited hours through the day. This thicker-crusted pizza is made of sweet chili-glazed smoked pork on thick fresh-baked pizza dough with melted mozzarella and will leave you scrambling to grab a second slice ASAP!
Werther’s Original Cookie Dough Caramel
You KNOW we had to throw in one of the newest creations from Karamel Kuche in EPCOT.

The caramel version of Werther’s Original Cookie Dough is made of cookie dough topped with caramel and a chocolate drizzle and the only warning we’re giving you for this one is to pace yourself.
Sandy Claws Hot Cocoa
Disney’s latest holiday party to hit the scene packed a TON of new snacks and this one just hit the spot!

The Sandy Claws Hot Cocoa is made of hot chocolate with cherry-flavored whipped cream from Dockside Diner during Disney’s Jollywood Nights was the MVP of the whole menu for this restaurant. Its warm cocoa paired with the melty cherry-flavored whipped cream just made sense and was a great treat to lift your holiday spirits.
Chicken Empanadas with Street Corn
That wasn’t the only show-stopping snack we tried at Disney’s Jollywood Nights though! Almost everything we tried from Holiday Fiesta en la Calle at ABC Commissary got great reviews from us — but there were clear favorites.

If the picture alone isn’t making your mouth water just imagine biting into the warm center of the crisp-breaded empanada edges to be greeted by chicken filling and a low heat from the pepper spices that builds as you eat more.
Zero Proof Pina Colada
While we’re here you might as well grab the Zero Proof Pina Colada to wash it all down!

This fruity creamy and coconutty drink is made of Lyre’s Spiced Cane Spirit, coconut, pineapple, and lime and is certainly coconut flavor forward but could quickly become your new favorite drink.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Whoopie Pie
Ok, you’ve caught us raving over yet ANOTHER peanut butter treat at Disney World but we PROMISE this one’s a doozie (or a whoopie?)

You can find this Peanut Butter Chocolate Whoopie Pie at Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT AND Contempo Cafe in Disney’s Contemporary Resort and we think the name sort of speaks for itself. However, in case you need to know more it’s made of a decadent Chocolate Whoopie Pie with Peanut Butter Filling and Shaved Chocolate Pieces around the outside, topped with Whipped Cream and Powdered Sugar.
Bacon Mac & Cheese
We may have saved the best for last but that doesn’t mean that it ranked any lower on our scale of favorites.

This year Fairfax Fare at Disney’s Hollywood Studios debuted the Bacon Mac & Cheese and we fell in love with Disney Mac & Cheese all over again, HARD! We’ll just let that picture speak 1,000 words for itself.
Now you know which of the loads of newest Disney World snacks and treats to hit the parks and hotels are the best taste AND value for your next visit. Be sure to follow us for all the latest Disney news, menu changes, and more!
