If you love the magic of Disney World so much that you go again and again each year, then chances are — you have an Annual Pass or are looking into purchasing one.
If you’re a Florida Resident, purchasing an Annual Pass is just a little extra convenient, because you have the opportunity to make monthly payments toward the Pass, unlike out-of-state residents, which have to pay for it in one lump sum. However, Florida-based Passholders had a bit of an issue recently when it came to the monthly payments.
Monthly payments toward Annual Passes are processed through a third-party payment vendor, which caused a delay in processing pre-authorized payments for those who’d purchased a Pass. Payments scheduled to occur between November 18th and November 27th, 2023 were delayed, which may have caused inconveniences for Passholders.
Disney posted an update on the website stating that payments would resume this week (November 27th through December 1st) for those whose payments were missed due to the delay.
Disney also shared that depending on your bank, it could take up to five more days for this payment to be processed.
Going forward, the payments will take place on the normal date, which is good to hear! Also, Disney isn’t penalizing any of these late payments, of course, as they’re well aware of the issue.
