NEWS: Disney CEO Bob Iger Says ‘Frozen 4’ Could Be in the Works

We’re live from Hong Kong Disneyland exploring the NEW World of Frozen!

Hoo hoo!

The new land officially opens on November 20th, but Disney CEO Bob Iger and other executives joined together for an opening ceremony. Not only that, but we learned that another Frozen movie might be in the works — here’s what we know.

Welcome to Hong Kong Disneyland’s World of Frozen! This land features a fully immersive village with all the characters, merchandise, and food of Arendelle. We are seeing the sights, meeting the characters, dining like royalty, and attending the World of Frozen opening ceremony.

But, it’s what Disney CEO Bob Iger said at that ceremony that we’re here to talk about — a Frozen 4 movie might be in the works! Earlier in 2023, Disney announced that Frozen 3 would be coming, but it sounds like they’re not quite done with this franchise just yet!

Iger said in an interview with Good Morning America on Thursday, November 16th, “Well, I’ll give you a little surprise there, Michael. Frozen 3 is in the works and there might be a Frozen 4 in the works too.”

“I don’t have much to say about those films right now. But Jenn Lee, who created Frozen, the original Frozen and Frozen II, is hard at work with her team at Disney Animation on not one but actually two stories,” Iger shared.

It’s no surprise that Disney would want to continue this franchise, as it has been incredibly successful for the company. Frozen and its story have taken the world by storm — literally — and we’re bringing you with us along for the ride in the new World of Frozen land!
