NEWS: Blizzard Beach Closes EARLY As Bad Weather Hits Disney World

Just when you think you planned the perfect Disney World vacation, things go awry. It’s just the way of the world!

Planning is important, of course, but sometimes there are things out of everyone’s control including the Florida weather. Today, November 16th, the weather impacted Disney World which likely caused a park to close early.

When looking at the park hours on November 16th, 2023, we noticed something different. Blizzard Beach typically closes at 5PM, but the calendar said the park was only open from 10AM to 12PM.

We have reporters in other Disney World parks who have been in the rain all day. Sometimes water parks will stay open and close the attractions temporarily, but when bad weather is expected all day, Disney can shut down the water park which is likely what we saw today.

Blizzard Beach just reopened on October 6th (as Typhoon Lagoon closed) after a long closure. The park stayed pretty much the same except for some new food items.
