NEWS: Times and Dates Announced for the Disneyland Candlelight Processional!

The holiday season is fast approaching, and that means that decorations are starting to go up, and tickets are going fast for the parks’ holiday parties.

Mickey’s Toontown – Disneyland

If you enjoy attending Disneyland’s Candlelight Processional event every year, we’ve got fantastic news — the event is officially returning this year!

This year the uber-popular event will take place on December 2nd and 3rd at 5:30PM and 7:45PM each night, according to the Orange County Register.

The Candlelight Processional setup

The event takes place on the steps of Disneyland’s Main Street train station, meaning regular guests in the park can see the show without any special ticket (but you’ll need to get your spot HOURS before).

At this event, you can see dozens of choir members sing the Christmas Story to life while a celebrity narrator (whose identity is kept secret until the first show) tells the story in between songs.

Seating at the Candlelight Processional

This tradition began in 1958 as a way for Walt Disney to thank the people of Orange County for allowing him to build the theme park, so many Orange County locals attend the event every year. Be sure to grab those park pass reservations and tickets right now — they will sell out!

A great show!
