Sneak Peek at a NEW Exclusive Halloween Experience Coming to Universal Orlando

Halloween Horror Nights is just around the corner and this year’s event is going to be HUGE.

Not only are there houses themed around Chucky, The Last of Us, and Stranger Things, but we recently got a sneak peek at the food coming in 2023. If you’re looking for even more Halloween, we’ve got to tell you about this new experience at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort!

Over at Cabana Bay this year, you’ll find Chucky’s Twisted Playground — an optical illusion journey through the Chucky TV series. There are interactive photo and video opportunities and Universal invited us to check it out!

These photo ops take you through some iconic moments in the first two seasons of the show and give you a sneak peek at what’s coming in season three.

This is a complimentary experience exclusive to guests at Universal Orlando hotels. You must present your hotel key card to enter the experience.

We stopped at the “In Chucky We Trust” photo op (which may or may not be a hint at season three 👀)…

…then the “Falling for Chucky” photo op. We love the optical illusion on this one!

These sets are so detailed and are sure to make amazing Instagram photos!

Overall, we thought this was a really fun and unique experience so if you are a Universal hotel guest, stop by and check it out. Plus, it’s free!

Universal shared with us that this is the first year they are bringing Halloween to all of the hotels!

For example, at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside and Dockside, Aventura Hotel, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Hard Rock Hotel®, and Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, guests can take advantage of Classic Monster movie poster photo ops in the lobbies!

Also, Cabana Bay’s Swizzle Lounge will be taken over by pumpkins to become The Spooky Swizzle Lounge. It will feature the Pumpkin Lord’s lair and offer Halloween-themed drinks.

If that wasn’t enough, Sunset Lounge at Endless Summer Resort — Dockside Inn and Suites will become the Spooky Sunset Lounge with specialty drinks and tropical decor.

Universal is going ALL OUT for Halloween this year and we couldn’t be more excited! We’ll be at the first night of Halloween Horror Nights on September 1st, so stay tuned for all of our coverage from the event.
