From free entry to the theme parks, to discounts on merchandise, to having the opportunity to get the inside scoop on how fan-favorite rides and attractions are operated — being a Cast Member has quite a few fun elements. However, many Disney World Cast Members would argue that one of the absolute best parts of working at the Most Magical Place on Earth is the opportunity to shop at a special store.

Cast Connections is a store only available to Disney Cast Members, that sells Disney merchandise and other fun things at a discounted price. You can work at any of the Disney Parks and still be granted entrance. Plus, you can even bring guests!

Wouldn’t it be so cool to shop discounted merch whenever you wanted?!

At Cast Connections, you can find merchandise from the previous season, and even the occasional merchandise item that’s currently sold in the parks — like if it’s “damaged” in any way. Usually, the packaging is what’s damaged rather than the contents, so it’s a pretty nice deal. Popular things to grab include Loungefly backpacks, Minnie Ears, Spirit Jerseys, the occasional Lightsaber, and even pins!

Cast Members can typically find tons of great stuff

Not only can you buy merchandise, but you can also buy FOOD. Yep, you can buy snacks like Mickey Bars, chicken tenders, and fries that are all sold in the parks. (Those chicken tenders in the air fryer? Chef’s kiss.) If you didn’t already know that a lot of the park food comes from a bag in the freezer, we’re sorry to inform you of this. (Best frozen food ever, though.)

In the past, Cast Members shopping at Cast Connections had first dibs on props used in the scenes of rides and even the hotels. However, this doesn’t seem to happen anymore — to Cast Members’ dismay.
