Everyone Else Can Go Home — Universal Just Won Twitter…Forever?

In case you didn’t already know, June 26th is an important day for Disney fans.

That’s right, 6.26 is celebrated annually in honor of the one and only Experiment 626 — Stitch! Each year, Disney assists Stitch in playing a few pranks on Disney fans and park visitors. A fan-favorite prank pulled off by Stitch was back in 2004, when Stitch decorated Cinderella Castle with toilet paper!

Well, Universal Orlando Resort popped onto Twitter this morning and made a not-so-subtle reference to the infamous prank! They tweeted, “It looked better with toilet paper on it,” in reference to the castle prank in 2004.

There’s nothing like some friendly rivalry between Orlando theme parks! Universal is known for some pretty hilarious tweets. From sassily instructing visitors that the water on rides is for splashing and NOT drinking, to telling visitors that their turkey legs are not welcome at the Raptor Encounter, we’ve come across some tweets that have made us giggle.

Speaking of funny Tweets, Disney and Stitch pranked Disney fans today with a Stitch takeover on Twitter! The DisneyParks Twitter bio was changed to let viewers know that “Stitch was here” as well as a tweet that stated that Stitch had eaten the tweet — similar to the message that appears on Disney’s website when something goes awry.
