What to Wear to Disneyland in June

June — it’s a breath of relief for a lot of us, because it’s the first official month of summer. (Yeah, yeah… We know that the solstice doesn’t technically happen until over halfway through the month, but we need all the summer celebration we can get, okay?)

Disneyland

Many of you are headed to Disneyland during your summer vacation, and if you haven’t been in a while, or if you’ve never been at all and are used to summer at Disney World in Orlando, you’re probably wondering about a few things. One, you’re wondering what the heck you should wear. Is it hot? Is it humid? Will I actually be able to dress cute without melting? Two, you’re probably wondering if you should bring the slew of ponchos for the inevitable yet unpredictable evening rain shower. Rest assured, my friend. Those are Florida problems. Today, we’re in sunny California!

Today, we’re going to provide you with a few outfit ideas so that you can gain some inspiration to look cute in the parks while still being comfortable. Before we hop into that, let’s talk specifics about the weather.

Disneyland!

In June, the weather in Anaheim is mostly sunny, with an average high of 79ºF and an average low of around 60ºF. The best part is — there’s only around a 1% chance of rain everyday. It’s sunny, it’s warm but not too hot, and it’s also not humid. Now that weather is out of the way, we can plan some outfits!

Tangled Outfit

Nothing screams happy, relaxed, summer days quite like Rapunzel. She’s always off adventuring, and her colors and accessories are very summery. This outfit is quite easy to put together, and it’ll also be breezy and comfortable as well.

For the base, all you’ll need is a lavender dress. You could opt for a more frilly, fancy one, or you could even go with a simple T-shirt dress. Even a matching tank top and shorts set would do the trick! Next, pair it with some florals. Here, we chose to go with some floral shoes, but you could also go with a floral headband, bag, or even floral hair clips. Pair it with jewelry and a bag, and you’re good to take on the park!

Tiana Outfit

Although we’re not headed to New Orleans, the beignets at Disneyland do deserve some applause. This next outfit is cute, summery, and Tiana-approved.

First, grab a white T-shirt or you can grab a Princess and the Frog-themed shirt. Pair it with a green skirt, a white pair of sneakers, and jewelry. We recommend pairing it with a pair of green or blue ears to tie it all together!

Minnie Mouse Outfit

You can never go wrong with the classics! This Minnie Mouse outfit will never go out of style in the parks — and it’s super easy to put together.

Start with a black tank top or bodysuit, and then pair it with a red and white polka dot skirt. You could even opt for a plan red skirt! Next, pair it with yellow sneakers or sandals to represent Minnie’s cute yellow heels. Add a pair of classic Minnie ears and some jewelry and you have yourself an outfit!

Alice Outfit

Are you picking up on a trend with all these bright, pastel colors? We love incorporating them into our summer outfits at the Disney Parks, and an Alice in Wonderland outfit fits in perfectly.

For the base, start with a baby blue dress. We chose to go with one that had puffy sleeves and a fitted bodice, but you could always opt for a blue T-shirt dress for ultimate comfort. Next, we added a black headband with a big bow. Add some black shoes (we went with platform loafers, but any black shoe will work), some white socks, some jewelry, and you’re good to go!
