The time to be scared out of your mind has almost arrived!

Halloween Horror Nights is returning to Universal Orlando in 2023 and we’ve already got some big updates to share. A Chucky-themed house is coming and tickets are already on sale for the spooky event. But just what dates will the event take place on and how much do tickets cost? Let’s take a look!
Single-Night Tickets
First up, there are single-night tickets for those just going to experience the fun for a single night. These start at $79.99 per person, but the exact price depends on what day you visit.

The first night of the event will be September 1st, 2023. Tickets on that date are $99.99. The event then continues on select nights in September (mainly Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays).

It is also offered on select nights in October (again, mostly Wednesday through Sunday, but it’ll also be offered on Tuesday, October 31st — Halloween night).

It’ll be available for a total of 44 nights, and Halloween night will be the last night of the event.
Express Pass
If you want to skip the lines at the haunted houses (and participating rides and attractions), pick up the Express Pass. This starts at $109.99. Note that admission to Horror Nights is required but NOT included with this pass.
Here’s a look at the pricing for this pass starting on September 1st…

…and running through October 31st.

Again, remember that this cost is in addition to the regular event ticket.
R.I.P. Tour
Next up is the Halloween Horror Nights R.I.P. Tour. This is a V.I.P. walking tour of the event. Universal notes that you’ll get to “see more with priority V.I.P. entry to haunted houses.”
Tickets for this start at $299.99 per person. Note that separate event admission is required but not included with this ticket.

The tour includes all of the following:
- Priority V.I.P. entry to haunted houses (once per house, based on itinerary)
- Commemorative R.I.P. Tour credential, lanyard and button (one each per guest)
- Complimentary Valet Parking (one (1) vehicle based on availability and advance purchase)
- Pre-Tour Reception in Cafe La Bamba
- Access to exclusive cash bar locations (must be 21+ with valid photo ID to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages)
- Universal Express Unlimited ride access (with R.I.P. credential) at all participating rides & attractions for the date of the tour (valid upon check-in at VIP Experience lobby to be used before or after tour during normal event operating hours; excludes Halloween Horror Nights haunted houses)
- Reserved seating at select event show(s) during the tour

Pricing varies by date. Online we were able to see the pricing for the September 2nd date (which includes available times at 6:30PM, 7PM, 7:30PM, and 8:30PM) starts at $399.99.Â

Pricing can get much more expensive though. For example, on September 30th it starts at $429.99.
Behind-the-Screams
And finally, there is also a Behind-the-Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tour. This is a daytime V.I.P. tour that gives you a look at the haunted houses with the lights ON. You can select a 3-house or 6-house tour.
For this one, theme park and/or event admission is NOT included but is also NOT required. Tickets start at $119.99 per person for the 3-haunted house tour and $169.99 for the 6-haunted house tour.

Once you pick whether you want the 3 or 6-house tour, you’ll be able to look at the available pricing. Pricing varies by date. For example, on October 7th pricing for the 3-house tour starts at $149.99.
To see ALL of the tickets and pricing, visit the Universal Orlando website and select “extras” in the ticketing section.
Vacation Package
You can also book a vacation package that includes tickets to Horror Nights. Look for the package that comes with: one-night admission to Halloween Horror Nights, five days of admission to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Volcano Bay, and accommodations at one of Universal Orlando’s hotels.
It’s bookable now and available for use from September 1st to October 31st.
