How Disney License Plates Raised $1.5 Million for Make-A-Wish

Since 1980, Disney has partnered with Make-A-Wish to grant Disney-inspired wishes.

The Disney Wish is dedicated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Disney’s dedication to the Make-A-Wish Foundation can be seen through the over 145,000 wishes they’ve granted and continued support for the organization over the past 43 years.

With the 50th Anniversary coming to a conclusion at the end of this month, Disney recently reported that they’ve raised over $1.5 million dollars in 50th Anniversary license plate sales.

The EARidescent Cinderella Castle design was Disney’s first ever specialty license plate design made specifically for the 50th anniversary and made only available in the state of Florida.

The proceeds from these license plates go towards supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida. While the license plates will discontinue at the end of this month, don’t fret.

Disney will be releasing new license plate designs featuring Cinderella Castle once the 50th anniversary celebrations conclude!
