Universal Parks Announces Major Rebranding

Some major changes are coming for Universal fans.

Universal Studios Florida

A NEW Minion attraction has been announced for Universal Orlando, new wand “tricks” could be planned for Harry Potter World, and we’ve even seen a new non-dairy butterbeer arrive. But now Universal has announced another change.

Universal has announced a rebranding. Universal Parks and Resorts will now be known as “Universal Destinations & Experiences.”

According to a press release from the Company, this rebrand “better reflects the full breadth of innovative offerings Universal brings to fans around the globe and its intent to continue to expand its business in the future.”

They’ve also indicated that the change is meant to represent how Universal is changing its offerings by bringing Universal-branded “entertainment, culinary, gaming and consumer product experiences to life in unique and creative ways for new audiences, in new places, and on new platforms in both the physical and virtual worlds.”

This news comes not long after Universal announced that it would be bringing a NEW theme park experience to Texas for families with younger kids, as well as a year-round horror experience to Las Vegas.

Universal also recently opened Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood. And it is working on a NEW theme park in Florida called Epic Universe.
