Pay-Per-Ride PRICE Revealed for the Opening Day of a NEW Disney Ride

Ever wondered how much it costs to pay to skip the line at a Disney ride on its opening day? Well, we just found out — at least in terms of one new ride!

Look at that marquee!

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway has officially opened in Disneyland Park and it is available via a virtual queue and Individual Lightning Lane (a.k.a. pay-per-ride). But just how much does that Individual Lightning Lane cost? Well, we have the answer.

On January 27th, the standard Genie+ service was priced at $25 at Disneyland Resort. While Genie+ allows you to select return times for quite a few rides (one selection at a time) and skip the standby line at those attractions, not all rides are included in the service.

Select highly popular rides are NOT available through Genie+. Instead, if you want to skip the standby lines (or virtual queues were applicable) for those highly popular rides, you’ll need to pay for an Individual Lightning Lane. That allows you to skip the line ONCE at the ride you select/pay for.

As we mentioned above, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is now open in Disneyland via a virtual queue and Individual Lightning Lane. Want to pay to skip the virtual queue here? On its opening day, the Individual Lightning Lane was priced at $20 for this NEW attraction.

Meanwhile, the Individual Lightning Lane for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance was $25

…and the only other Individual Lightning Lane, for Radiator Springs Racers, was $15.

But remember that all Individual Lightning Lane prices are subject to change based on the day, ride, and park. We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more news about upcoming rides at all of the Disney parks.
