Disneyland goers, we have some BIG news for you! We are one step closer to the reopening of Toontown, the iconic land that has been closed for reimagining since 2022.
This drastic reimagining includes major additions and updates including more interactive activities, more grassy areas, a new fountain, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runway Railway! We can’t wait to visit, and we’ve received signs from Disney that the new Toontown is one step closer to being complete.
In celebration of the upcoming reopening date on March 8th, Disney Parks posted a TikTok to get fans excited about the near completion of the reimagined land.

In the TikTok, the narrator excitedly announces, “It’s happening!” as Disney construction workers hang the Toontown sign above the entrance. After nearly a year, it’s about time, right?! Fans of Toontown are ecstatic to see the iconic sign hanging in its rightful location.
We are so excited to see all the new attractions and activities that this reimagining includes. March 8th can’t come fast enough! Will we see you there?
