Big news, Major League Baseball Disney fans!

If you’ve run or visited a runDisney race, you’re likely familiar with the ESPN Wide World of Sports facility. If you’re a Major League Baseball fan, you’ll be thrilled to know that a popular Florida team will be using this training facility for their spring training!
The Tampa Bay Rays‘ main training facility was damaged during Hurricane Ian, leaving the team in need of a spring training spot. They’ve now partnered with Walt Disney World to use the ESPN Wide World of Sports facility for parts of their spring training needs.

Players will begin reporting to Disney World on February 6th, but pitchers and catchers won’t report until February 14th. Team training will run through March 1st.
