What a weekend for Star Wars fans!
The annual Star Wars celebration is going on in Anaheim, and there have been tons of announcements, from Baby Yoda coming to Disneyland to new legacy lightsabers and more! And, among the announcements have been several BIG Disney+ updates on upcoming Star Wars series like an Andor trailer and the announcement of a new series starring Jude Law. And, now we’ve got details on another upcoming animated series!
Disney just revealed that a new anthology series of animated shorts titled Tales of the Jedi will be coming to Disney+ in the fall of 2022!
An official date hasn’t yet been announced for when the shorts will premiere on Disney+, but we do know that each short will follow a different Jedi from the prequel era. For example, it looks like we’ll get the backstory of Ahsoka Tano in one episode!

Other Star Wars projects for Disney+ that have been announced were a LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation special, and a series called Young Jedi Adventures that takes place during the high republic time period.
