Graduation season is upon us!

We’ve already spotted some adorable graduation themed accessories perfect for the class of 2022 in the Disney Parks, and Disneyland is bringing back their Grad Nites to celebrate this year’s graduates! If you’re graduating, or know a graduate who is a huge Disney fan, then check out these DIYs that will bring a little Disney magic into your celebration!
Disney Rewards just shared these adorable Disney Graduation cap DIYs! Customizing a Grad Cap is a great way to bring your passions or interests into your graduation, and these DIYs are great inspiration for Disney fans. Let’s get into them!

The first DIY is for this Stitch themed graduation cap! Here’s what you’ll need:
Supplies:
• Graduation cap
• Painter’s tape
• Scissors
• Artificial tropical flowers
• Paint brushes
•Aqua craft paint
• Hot glue
• Craft glue
• X-acto knife
• Cardstock

Once you have all of those supplies, here’s how you put the cap together!
- Apply painter’s tape along the bottom of the cap so that the paint doesn’t bleed. Add 2 or 3 coats of aqua paint until the surface is primed.
- Create a white and aqua gradient to make Stitch pop! Add white paint at the tip, and a mix of white and aqua above. Blend with horizontal brush strokes until the gradient blends!
- Print these templates from Disney Rewards onto the cardstock, and cut out the images and letters with the X-acto knife. Be careful!
- Hot glue the flowers around the edge of the graduation cap. Make sure you leave some room for Stitch at the bottom!
- Glue the letters and Stitch to the grad cap with the craft glue, and reattach the tassel. Wait for everything to dry, then you’re good to go!

If you’re more of an Aladdin fan, then you can try this DIY featuring the iconic Genie!

Here’s what you’ll need to make the Genie cap!
Supplies:
• Graduation cap
• Painter’s tape
• Scissors
• Blue LED fairy lights
• Paint brushes
• Navy blue craft paint
• Blue glitter paint
• Hot glue
• Craft glue
• Navy felt
• White colored pencil
• Cardstock

Got all of your supplies? Here’s how you’ll make it!
- Tape along the bottom edge of the graduation cap to make sure the paint doesn’t bleed.
- Paint 2 or 3 coats of navy blue paint on the top of the cap until the surface is primed.
- Use these templates from Disney Rewards to print out the Genie and “Applause” images on your cardstock, and cut them out.
- Once the paint is dry, secure the LED battery pack on the base of the cap with glue. Then, set the templates on the cap, and trace them with white colored pencil. Line the LED lights along the pencil lines and glue them down with hot glue.
- Add the Genie and “Applause” on top of the lights, and secure with hot glue. Add the tassel, and get ready to celebrate!
