Back in 2019 Universal announced their plans to build a new theme park called Epic Universe in Orlando, and it will feature multiple lands, an entertainment district, restaurants, shops, and hotels. Plans for this theme park are moving forward, and here’s what we know so far!

The new Epic Universe theme park is scheduled to open in 2025, and Orlando Business Journal reported that Universal has filed 83 permits so far in April. These permits were filed through Orange County for infrastructure work including landscaping, irrigation, fire alarm systems, heating and air-conditioning, and electrical work.

Epic Universe will feature a land themed as Super Nintendo World, and the new theme park is predicted to generate over $11 billion  (as per Orlando Business Journal) and create 14,000 new jobs.
