NEWS: New Travel Mandate Impacts UK Visitors to Disneyland Paris

As the situation with COVID-19 continues to change and develop, AllEars will be bringing you the latest relevant news that could affect a theme park visit.

**UPDATE: As of January 14th, 2022, the UK travel restrictions are no longer in place. Visitors from the United Kingdom no longer need a “compelling reason for travel” to visit France. Additionally, visitors no longer need to quarantine for 48 hours. Currently, visitors must be fully vaccinated and must present a negative COVID-19 test (taken 24 hours prior to departure) when traveling.**

Disneyland Paris will kick off its 30th anniversary on March 6th, 2022.

Along with some exciting new decorations, parades, and the opening of the new Avengers Campus in summer 2022, there are lots of people planning a trip to Disneyland Paris. In light of the rise of the Omicron COVID-19 variant, France has issued a new travel mandate that could impact your visit. Learn more here.

As reported by the New York Times, the French government has banned nonessential travel to and from the United Kingdom, regardless of vaccination status. As a result, Disneyland Paris issued an update to let British travelers know that they will not be permitted to travel to France to visit the park during this mandate beginning on December 18th, 2021.

Disneyland Paris has provided temporary adjustments to their booking and cancellation policies so that guests who are unable to travel due to the mandate can rebook or cancel for a full refund. Non-dated tickets will be extended to March 31st, 2022, and dated tickets or show tickets can be canceled for a full refund.
