A Helpful Feature Has Returned to the Disney World App

Lots of things around Disney World have been changing lately.

Snack spots have reopened, hotels have reopened, Disney Genie has debuted, and more. Recently, we also noticed a small but important change has been made to the My Disney Experience app.

If you’ve been to Disney World recently, odds are you’ve used the My Disney Experience app. The app has a number of useful features including wait times, the ability to help you make dining reservations, and a spot that tracks your future plans (park pass reservations and more). The “My Plans” section in the app used to easily show you when and where you had park passes arranged for the future as well as other upcoming reservations.

When Disney Genie debuted, however, we noticed that the “My Plans” section went missing. Guests could still look up their plans by searching for them in the app. But, that wasn’t quite as easy as simply having the “My Plans” section there.

Well, if you seriously missed the “My Plans” section, no worries — it has returned under a new name! If you go to the My Disney Experience app now, you can tap on the 3 horizontal lines on the bottom right (the ones that look like a sandwich), and you’ll find the “Future Plans” section under “My Genie Day.”

The Future Plans section, just like My Plans did, shows guests their future reservations, including Park Pass reservations.

So, be sure to check out the “Future Plans” section to once again easily find everything you need without having to search through the app. We’ll keep an eye out for more changes you should know about and we’ll share them all with you. Check back with us for the latest Disney updates!
