The Disney Wish is the newest ship in Disney Cruise Line’s fleet.
We’ve heard a lot about the unique dining, entertainment, and attractions on board already, and we can’t wait to learn more when the ship sets sail in the summer of 2022. But you might see the Wish sailing a little earlier than that — in New York City?
Disney has confirmed that a Disney Wish-themed float will be included in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this year.
The float is called “Magic Meets the Sea,” and it’s embarking on its maiden voyage down 34th street on Thanksgiving Day. It has the same colors and designs as the Wish. And it’ll have fifteen Disney characters on board, some of which are Captain Minnie Mouse, Princess Tiana, Aladdin, Jasmine, and Cinderella.
UPDATE: Disney has since shared that Disney Channel and Broadway star, Jordan Fisher, will be onboard the Disney Cruise Line float to perform the original Disney Cruise Line song “Together We Set Sail.”
Make sure to be watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 25th from 9AM to 12PM to catch a glimpse of the Wish sailing down the street. You really won’t want to miss the parade this year, because we’re also going to see the Baby Yoda float that Disney announced last month!
