Both Disney World and Disneyland have been taking a phased approach to re-opening the parks and resorts since initially closing temporarily due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
Although most restaurants and attractions are back in the parks now, we’re still missing a few popular things. But, as select live shows begin to return to Disney World, Disneyland has now announced that a popular show for kiddos will be reopening soon too.
Fans of Disney Junior will be excited to hear that The Disney Junior Dance Party! will reopen in Disney California Adventure on October 15th!
During the show, kids can join Finn Fiesta and DJ Deejay to sing and dance along with Disney Junior characters like Minnie Mouse, Vampirina, and Doc McStuffins. But, there will be a few modifications to the show and seating to allow for physical distancing.
When the show reopened for a short period of time in Disney World last year, the theater featured floor markers to designate where separate parties could stand. So, we anticipate that a similar arrangement will be made in Disneyland with parents and guardians will be seated with their kids (rather than the kids going to the front) during the show.
Keep in mind that the Disney World version of Disney Junior Dance Party! in Disney’s Hollywood Studios does not currently have a reopening date.
