If you’re headed to Universal Orlando this summer, expect it to be quite busy!

We’ve seen heavy crowds at the resort since Spring Break, and if it’s anything like Disney World, we’re predicting that a lot of people will be visiting in the coming months. Apparently Universal agrees…because they’ve raised their parking prices again!
While parking fees for regular parking remain the same at $26 per vehicle, the Prime Parking cost has once again gone up to $50. This same price increase happened during the Spring Break season.

Prime Parking allows guests to park closer to the security area so that you don’t have to walk as far to get into CityWalk, Universal Studios Florida, and Islands of Adventure. Typically, the cost is $40 per car, but Universal tends to raise the price during more crowded times. This change likely comes in preparation for a busy summer.
If you’re upgrading to Prime Parking, you’ll be charged $24, and RV/Bus Parking is $32. If you leave the park and return later that day, you won’t have to pay twice, so long as you show your parking ticket.

We’ll be on the lookout for more changes heading into this summer, so stay tuned to AllEars. We’ve got all the Universal Orlando news that you need to know ahead of your vacation!

Do you know if the parking is still reduced if you arrive in the evening for shopping, dinner, movies, the nightclubs when they open up etc……? If it is reduced what is the fee? The last time we went to Citywalk (September 2020) for dinner and shopping the parking fee was $3 if memory serves.
