It’s been over a year since Disney temporarily suspended its College Program due to health and safety concerns after the parks’ closures.
However, Disney World recently announced that it would reinstate its college program this June.
Disney announced that it would reach out to those who had their college program canceled or ended early last year to invite them to come back. But Disney has also recently opened up applications for newly eligible participants for the program at Disney World.
Those who choose to return to the program or get accepted as new attendees will receive information about health and safety measures before their arrival. Disney will make modifications to occupancy so that participants who are fully vaccinated will be able to live with other fully vaccinated participants.
Returning and new participants will live in the new Flamingo Crossings Village area which opened up for Cast Members last year.
To apply, students must meet certain education requirements — they must be currently enrolled and taking classes at an accredited college or university and must have completed at least one semester. Those who have graduated within the past 24 months are also eligible.
Program arrival dates are between June and July, and those who wish to apply can do so through the Disney jobs website. Applications are only open for a limited time. We’ll keep you updated with any new information!
