Mark Your Calendars! We Have a Date for Disney’s Second Quarter Earnings Call!

Four times a year, the Walt Disney Company shares their latest quarterly earnings and conducts quarterly earnings calls, where the latest financial figures are shared. In addition to finances, the company often shares announcements regarding upcoming projects across their business segments.

The most recent call for Disney’s FY 2021 Q1 earnings was this past February, and we just learned more information regarding their Q2 earnings call.

Businesswire has reported that The Walt Disney Company will discuss their Fiscal Second Quarter earnings on Thursday, May 13th, 2021. The earnings call will begin at 4:30PM EST/1:30PM PST.

In Disney’s previous earnings call, CEO Bob Chapek and CFO Christine McCarthy shared various announcements and plans across the company’s business segments, including Disney parks, studios, direct-to-consumer, and more.

In the past, earnings calls have been where we learned major news about park reopening dates as well as plans to release upcoming films on Disney+. In fact, it was during last year’s Second Quarter earnings call for FY 2020 that we first heard about Shanghai Disneyland’s reopening date. So, you never know what big announcements will happen this time around!
