Looking for a way to get your fix of the Orlando theme parks? You’re in luck!
From virtual celebrations to video ride-throughs, technology allows us to visit our happy places from the comfort of our own homes. And an upcoming virtual event will take guests on a tour of Disney World, Universal Orlando, and more!
Visit Orlando is set to host the city’s first live virtual travel show on Thursday, March 25th from 6-8PM ET.
The event, titled “The Wonder Awaits You! An Orlando Virtual Travel Experience,” will feature main stage presentations from Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld Orlando, and Legoland Florida Resort.
Plus, there’s a virtual trade show where consumers can interact with more than 40 destination partners who will offer special “show deals” for attendees. There are also prizes available for attendees to win, including a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package, Universal Orlando Resort vacation package, SeaWorld Orlando Vacation package, and Flights to Orlando from Spirit Airlines.
Casandra Matej, president and CEO of Visit Orlando, said the following about the upcoming event, “Knowing there is a lot of pent-up demand for travel this year, we wanted to create a one-stop experience for visitors to plan their ‘bucket list’ summer vacation and feel confident they’ll be visiting a destination that takes safety seriously. Our virtual travel experience has elements for both adults and families to enjoy, including sneak peeks into what’s new at the theme parks, fun games, themed photo-ops, new safety measures, and of course, answers to their vacation planning questions.”
And best of all, the event is free to attend! Guests can sign up to attend the live virtual event online. It will also be available on-demand for three days following the event for registered attendees only. Check it out to get a taste of the great things the Orlando theme parks have to offer!
