2021 Golden Globe Winners from The Walt Disney Company!

The 78th annual Golden Globes are tonight!

This year, The Walt Disney Company had a total of 25 nominations, including top shows and movies from Hulu and Disney+ like Hamilton, The Mandalorian, Onward, and Soul! Now, we’re taking a look what won Golden Globes tonight!

Disney and Pixar’s Soul was a big winner of the evening taking home the prize for Best Animated Film. Onward was also up for this award, but the latest Pixar film about jazz musician Joe Gardner received the award!

Soul

Soul also won the Golden Globe for Best Original Score in a Motion Picture! The composers who won the Best Original Score in a Motion Picture award and are responsible for the beautiful jazz music in the film are Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, and Jon Batiste.

Nomadland took home the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Drama and Best Director of a Motion Picture Drama. This is associated with Disney through Searchlight Pictures. Andra Day, star of Hulu’s United States vs. Billie Holiday, won the award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama.
