NEW Vaccine Planning Tool Announced by Universal Orlando

As we head into springtime, the United States’ COVID-19 vaccination effort continues.

Theme parks are invested in the progress: Disneyland Resort has its own vaccine site, and Disney World announced that park capacity will be determined by the rate of vaccination. Now, Universal Orlando has announced a new tool that may make vaccine planning a little easier.

The Plan Your Vaccine tool, created by NBC, allows users to discover when and where they can receive their COVID-19 vaccine. It’s a state-by-state guide that shares personalized information with each individual.

On the Plan Your Vaccine website, you can enter basic information like your state, age group, and occupation.

Then, the tool will determine your eligibility for the vaccine. You’ll also get a look at your state’s overall distribution timeline.

The site has a tool to find pharmacies or distribution centers near you that are administering vaccines…

…as well as some basic details about vaccine eligibility and FAQs for your appointment.

Lastly, there’s an interactive map that shows what percent of the population in each state is vaccinated, eligible to be vaccinated, or next on the list to be vaccinated.
