BREAKING: Blue Man Group Is Leaving Universal Orlando Resort

CityWalk is Universal Orlando’s hub for dining and entertainment.

This out-of-park complex features a bunch of fan-favorite restaurants and shows, including one of five national performing residences of the Blue Man Group. Now, though, that entertainment option will be disappearing.

According to the Blue Man Group on Twitter, the run of the off-beat performance group (known for having their performers fully painted blue) will be ending in Universal Orlando.

In their announcement, the group notes, “Thank you to the Blue Man Orlando cast, crew, and staff for more than 6,000 shows and to the millions of fans who shared in our incredible 14-year run!”

Blue Man Group will continue to have residencies in Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, and Boston; although these shows are currently on hiatus due to the global health crisis.
