Tambu Lounge in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort serves up a lot of tasty drinks!
We’ve been stopping by this spot from time to time to see if anything new has popped up since it reopened back in August. However, another favorite spot of ours in this resort, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto has yet to reopen. Excitingly, we noticed some new things at Tambu Lounge today that make us feel like we’re right back there! Check out the super tropical drink and tiki mug we found!
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto is a highly-themed bar serving clever cocktails. The bar used to do specialty releases, but it seems those have now traveled over to Tambu Lounge! The Citrus Surfer drink combines Pyrat XO Reserve Rum, Appleton Estate Reserve Rum, Orgeat (Almond), and Falernum with Lemon, Lime, Orange, and Grapefruit Juices! Plus, it comes with this cool tiki mug!
The fruity drink is poured on its own and the tiki mug comes separately. Also, you can’t purchase the mug by itself. It only comes with the purchase of the beverage.
The tiki mug is ocean blue and is decorated with designs that transport us right back to Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto!

This new drink and tiki mug are only available for a limited time, so make sure you head over to Disney’s Polynesian Resort sooner rather than later to get your hands on it. The drink and mug pairing cost $32. We’re always keeping an eye out for new things in Disney Parks so be sure to check back with us!
