A NEW Mobile Sharing Feature Has Been Added to Disney+

From Clouds to The Mandalorian and everything in between, we’ve watched a LOT of movies and shows on Disney+.

Disney+ has also started to add some new things to make watching shows with your friends and family easier, like the GroupWatch feature. Now, you can also share your favorite Disney+ content with others in an easy way with the new Share Feature that’s been added.

Let’s say you’re watching Once Upon a Snowman on Disney+ and you want to share a link to the short with your friends or family and tell them they MUST check it out. Now you can do that easily in the mobile app version of Disney+ through a new Share Feature. You’ll find this new share feature in the page for different shows and movies next to the new GroupWatch icon. The Share Feature icon is the one at the end with the arrow pointing up.

Once you hit it, you’ll be given the opportunity to share a link to the show or movie on Disney+ via email, to Facebook, via text, and more. If you choose to text it to someone, a new message box will appear with a link to the show and an automatically generated message ready to be sent.

It makes it really easy to send a link to someone and recommend specific Disney+ movie or documentary that you absolutely LOVED and think others should see. Note that this function only allows you to share a link to the item on Disney+. Your friends or family members will need their own Disney+ account to actually log in and view the show or movie.

This Halloween, for example, you could send a link to your friends to recommend that they watch Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown, or even Twitches! All fantastic choices. We’ll be on the lookout for more Disney+ updates, so come back for all the latest.
