Today might be a bright and sunny day with Halloween magic in the air, but it’s also been a morning for technical difficulties online!

Mobile Order has been experiencing some problems already with guests unable to access the option on My Disney Experience (even though you can still make dining reservations). However, the technical issues are extending from restaurants to merchandise since shopDisney is having a few of the same problems!

As we’ve been waiting for the next pair of designer ears to launch online, we were surprised to see that the Cupcakes and Cashmere Minnie Ears hadn’t dropped on shopDisney yet. While they were supposed to make their debut at 7AM PST, we noticed that it was nearing 7:30AM with no news about when they would be released.

However, when we refreshed the page, we were greeted with shopDisney’s technical difficulties notification (with Fix-It Felix ready to get on the job). Disney asked guests to return back to the site at a later time to check back for the new ears and other merchandise.

While we’re not sure if this is happening on all of Disney’s online platforms, two of their biggest virtual experiences have already had problems today. As we keep checking around the parks, we’ll keep an eye on Disney’s other online tools. And, we’ll make sure to bring you an update about when shopDisney and Mobile Order are both up and running again!
