If you’re a thrill seeker, then you probably have one thing on the brain when you head to theme parks: ROLLER COASTERS.

And with multiple major theme parks in Orlando, what are the best roller coasters? We’re here to help you find out by sharing our top rated coasters. These are based on thrill, speed, and adrenaline — everything that makes a good roller coaster great.
Here are Our Top Six Roller Coasters in Orlando!
Mako — SeaWorld
Let’s start with Orlando’s tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster: Mako. Mako is a must-do for coaster fans. Named after the fastest shark in the sea, Mako hits heights of 200 feet and speeds of up to 73MPH.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster — Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The best part of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster? The start! You’ll go 0 to 60MPH in 2.8 seconds making for a truly exhilarating ride acceleration. Plus you’re jamming out to Aerosmith the whole time — and it’s Disney World’s only upside-down coaster.

Hagrid’s Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure — Islands of Adventure (Universal Orlando)
If you like a little story and surprise in your coaster, then look no further than Hagrid’s! This coaster is AH-mazing. Not only does it fly around a track, with bursts of speed when you least expect them, but Harry Potter fans will especially love the story element. Prepare to literally drop, face a skrewt, and feel the power of dragon fire. Also, Hagrid’s cost $300M to build, making it the most expensive roller coaster ever.

Manta — Sea World
Manta not only features four inversions, but those inversions happen while you’re tipped forward to simulate being a manta ray. The coaster hits speeds of 56MPH, and the unique position makes the thrills and loops feel even more intense.

Expedition Everest — Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Another storytelling coaster, Expedition Everest is full of surprises. From a broken track that forces your train to run backward to an 80-foot drop and a face-to-face encounter with the Yeti, Expedition Everest is one of Disney’s (and Orlando’s) best.

The Incredible Hulk Coaster — Islands of Adventure (Universal Orlando)
Much like Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, The Incredible Hulk Coaster starts with a quick burst of speed (up to 40MPH this time) before reaching top speeds of 64MPH. The Hulk features seven inversions and mist features, and it is truly one of the most thrilling rides in Orlando!
