The BEST Attraction in Every Land of Universal Studios Orlando!

Universal Studios is open, and that means we need to get prepped on our game plan for getting back to the park.

Universal Orlando Resort

Universal Orlando Resort has its fair share of cool rides, and a bunch of them are in the original Universal Studios park. But what if we could only ride one ride in each land of that park?

Here’s the number one ride in every land at Universal Studios!

TRANSFORMERS: The Ride-3D in Production Central

Starting off in Production Central, our pick is TRANSFORMERS: The Ride-3D! This attraction opened in 2013 and is the most recent iteration of the story seen in Universal parks around the world.

The Transformers ride will have you teaming up with Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and more to evade the Decepticons. Would you ever pass up a chance to hang with Optimus Prime? Neither would we.

Revenge of the Mummy in New York

Next up, we’re headed to New York for a ride on the number one ride in this area — Revenge of the Mummy! This ride is based on The Mummy film franchise and has been around since 2004.

Revenge of the Mummy

This ride is a winner for us thanks to the story. The idea is that you’re traveling on the fictional film set of a Mummy sequel that has been ransacked by the (very real) curse. Spooky! Plus there’s a false exit to the ride which is super tricky and fun.

Fast & Furious – Supercharged in San Francisco

Over in San Francisco, there’s not too much competition since there’s only one attraction in the land. Needless to say, we’re talking about Fast & Furious – Supercharged in this land!

This ride opened in 2018 so that guests can get a taste of what being an action hero feels like. Our only qualm with it? It replaced Disaster! A Major Motion Picture…Starring You which was a super neat and unique ride.

Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley

Okay, so there are a LOT of great attractions in Diagon Alley. We especially love a trip on The Hogwarts Express from Kings Cross Station. Our winner for this land, though, is Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts!

Escape from Gringotts

This rollercoaster has you racing through the vaults of Gringotts as Harry, Ron, and Hermione try to escape the plots of Lord Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange. It really feels like you’re in the movies, plus it’s a great coaster.

MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack in World Expo

World Expo gives us the choices of MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack and Fear Factor Live. No surprise here, we went with Men in Black. Fear Factor gives us the heebie-jeebies!

Plus, MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack lets guests go into training as a Men in Black agent to kill evil aliens. If you don’t dream of being a man (or woman) in black, do we even know you?

The Simpsons Ride in Springfield: Home of the Simpsons

Of course, we had to go with The Simpsons Ride in Springfield: Home of the Simpsons. It just wouldn’t feel right if we didn’t!

The Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood

Though we miss the Back to the Future ride that came before this, The Simpsons Ride is a super fun motion simulator. Bonus points for featuring more than 24 Simpsons characters voiced by their original voice actors!

E.T. Adventure in Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone

Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone has some great attractions for kiddos, but our favorite ride has to be E.T. Adventure. This attraction has you helping the friendly alien get back to his homeworld.

The best parts of the ride are the iconic bike ride vehicles, the sensation of flying over the city, and the fact that E.T. thanks you for your help by name as you exit the ride!

Universal Orlando’s Horror Make-up Show in Hollywood

And we wrap up our tour in Hollywood. This is the only attraction on our list that is a show and not a ride, but there’s a good reason for that! It’s Universal Orlando’s Horror Make-up Show!

First off, this show is the only attraction in Hollywood but it’s also awesome. In fact, even if there were other attractions they would have to be pretty good to beat this show of Hollywood special effects on our list!
