Rebecca Campbell is looking back fondly on her at Disneyland!
Rebecca Campbell stepped into her role as President of Disneyland Resort back in November of 2019. She was recently named the new Chairman of the Direct-to-Consumer and International segment in a shuffle of The Walt Disney Company executive team. And, even though her time at Disneyland was relatively short, she’s shared a message expressing how much the experience meant to her!
Since Disneyland is “The Happiest Place on Earth,” it’s understandable that Rebecca Campbell felt such an impact from her time there! She recently shared a photo on Instagram from inside Walt Disney’s apartment in the park.
Along with the picture, she also included a caption expressing her love for Disneyland and her gratitude for the experience as President. She wrote, “I remember my first day on the job at Disneyland, going up to Walt’s apartment, and looking out the window to see the amazing Cast Members and wonderful guests. It was a powerful moment, and one that has stuck with me ever since. I feel extremely grateful to have had this experience and to have met so many incredible people along the way. As I embark on my next role as chairman of Disney’s international business units and streaming services including Disney+, I want to thank all of you for making the Disneyland Resort truly the Happiest Place on Earth. I was a frequent guest of the parks before I worked here… and I have no doubt I’ll be back often with my family.”
With Campbell moving into her new role, Ken Potrock, former President of Consumer Products, has been named as the new President of Disneyland Resort.
