Tickets are available right now for Annual Passholders, with tickets opening up for the general public starting tomorrow, February 20th. However, there’s one Star Wars experience that won’t be open for the event.

While this will be the first-ever Star Wars Nite held after the opening of Rise of the Resistance, the insanely popular attraction won’t be open for the event. Disney has cited “standard maintenance times” as the reason for the closure.

They have to let the Stormtroopers sleep. They’ve been standing up all day, you see.

Rise of the Resistance is the most technically complicated ride in Disney history, combining a motion simulator, a trackless ride system, a Tower of Terror style free fall, and countless special effects into a single, seamless experience. This, coupled with the insanely high traffic the ride sees on a given day (an average of over 15,000 riders at Hollywood Studios) means that nightly maintenance is critical.

Unfortunately, this is sure to disappoint many guests, who will likely be unable to secure a boarding group during the convention weekend. However, other Star Wars experiences will remain available, including the rest of the Galaxy’s Edge shops and attractions.

Batuu will still be bopping, so swing by while you can!

Passholder tickets are available now for $109 a person. General admission tickets will be available beginning on February 20th.
