A cult favorite attraction is returning to Disney California Adventure this year, and we can’t wait to fly over the skies of California again!
According to the OC Register, Soarin’ Over California will be returning for a limited-time during the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival, February 28th through April 21st.
This classic attraction was replaced in 2016 with Soarin’ Around the World, a global version of the ride. Many are still fans of the original version, though, so limited time reopenings of the ride tend to draw significant crowds.
The run of Soarin’ Over California coincides perfectly with the Food and Wine Festival that celebrates Californian cuisine. The last time the ride saw a limited run was last year with the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park. It was so popular during that time that the limited run got an extension!
This time around, the run will last for two months or more as Disney has not yet confirmed an end time for the run. If you need us, we’ll be Soarin’ Over California!

A lot a people including myself love the classic Soarin’ Over California in Disneyland. Please keep the original going just not the time you say. It’s the best! 😁Miss it a lot!!!
Other things to mention
Stop changing rides and changing both parks on everything. You are not making Disneyland A Happy Place On Earth! You are making the parks to big and prices. Walt Disney never wanted any alcohol in Disneyland but you did. 😒☹️
We never had to make reservations to get in both park and that’s in called for. Plus wait a time you planned to go in. Not right. Put the prices down for everything. Thing of families, how are they suppose to pay. Should have never taken away the original annual year pass. I had them since the beginning and loved it. Don’t have the new ones. plus tons of people are like me. Should have never changed the way to put your tickets for rides for the times to come back. Shouldn’t have to pay! You are the ones that wanted to change the parks look and prices sky high that people who love Disneyland and California Adventure have to pay the price. For hopper tickets we never had to wait a time to go to the park. That’s truly unfair. Also unfair to make reservations to eat and everything else. Your paycheck is the same so should be for parks to. Please make Disneyland better with this and you will get more people back and enjoying themselves 😁 thank you
