Ahoy, mateys!
We’re coming at ye today with some sad news — The Pirates League in Magic Kingdom is set to close its doors later this year.
Situated in Adventureland by Pirates of the Caribbean, The Pirates League provides Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique-style transformations, though in this case you can be given a makeover to become a pirate or mermaid.
According to the Disney World website, The Pirates League will be closing on July 27th, 2020, so if you want to undergo a swashbuckling transformation, now is the time!

WHOSE IDEA WAS THIS??????? Is Disney management getting crazier? I have taken 5 year olds to Pirate League and they LOVE it. Kids ABSOLUTELY LOVE this. Not all children want to be a princess or prince (nothing wrong with that either). So what is being offered in this experience’s place? 🙁
Why are they closing this was about the only thing for the big kids to get a makeover my Dauther who is 13 love doing it this pass October, are they going to come up with something to give that kind of experience for the big kids ?
No!!! My girls loved this more than BBB.
My adult children did this a few years ago. They loved it. The transformation was so realistic looking that my son truly looked like he had been in a brawl with pirates.
Been there every year. Never heard or seen it.
That’s horrible! My son had a pirate makeover in October for MNSSHP and he was THRILLED! Why are they taking it away?!?
