After the rings have been tossed into the volcano, the princesses have been saved, and the dragons have been turned into household pets, there’s still a lot of magic and mystery out there in the world… or at least, that’s the premise of Onward, the new Disney-Pixar film coming out next year!

Starring Tom Holland and Chris Pratt as two teenage elf brothers, Onward is a story about the magic of family, and the lengths that two sons will go to see their father one last time. We’ve got the new trailer below!

The film stars Ian (Holland) and Barley (Pratt), two brothers living in a fantasy world that’s kind of mellowed out over the years. Magic is still around, but epic quests are a thing of the past. Barley dreams of magical adventure, but Ian is still struggling over the loss of their father, who he’s never gotten to meet.

All of that changes on Ian’s 16th birthday, when they discover a spell that could bring their father back to life, along with a genuine wizard’s staff! Unfortunately, the spell only revives their father from the waist down, prompting a frantic rush to complete the spell before it’s too late!

Along the way, the brothers meet a cast of colorful characters to help and hinder them on their journey.

Octavia Spencer plays Corey, a manticore and restaurant owner who helps send them on their quest.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus plays Laurel, the mother of the two siblings, who rushes after them when she realizes that they’re headed into more danger than they could possibly realize.

Ali Wong, Lena Waithe, and Mel Rodriguez play Officers Gore, Specter, and Colt Bronco, a trio of police officers trying to bring the boys home from their dangerous joyride.

Will the brothers be able to revive their dad? Will they escape the dangerous curse that threatens their lives? Will someone please get this unicorn out of my trashcan?! We’ll find out when Onward releases on March 6th, 2020!
